Vista is the projection of the creative talents of the students. The festival reflects the highest energy levels of the students who organize and also participate with great enthusiasm to make the festival a great success. The Technical Festival is weaved and carved by the students , Cultural In Charge and the teaching and non teaching staff.
Vista 2024
VISTA 2024 marked the 19th anniversary of TIMSCDR's esteemed intercollegiate festival, showcasing a vibrant tapestry of student talent and innovation under the “YUVOTSAV" held on April 4 – 5 2024, at the TEG campus, the event was inaugurated by distinguished guests including Mr. Khushaal Pawar, a content creator, singer and composer.
The event was a fantastic Technical and Cultural celebration! With the preparation of Rangolis and decorations themed around Marvel and Disney characters, including all Marvel heroes and Harry Potter, the atmosphere was vibrant and exciting. Drawing participation from over 400 students representing 20 colleges, VISTA 2024 featured 11 events spanning Technical, Cultural, and Gaming categories. Highlights included intense competitions in Technical Games such as Coding and Unravel the Bug also BGMI and Valorant gaming, a captivating array of cultural performances such as Solo as well as group Singing and Dance, Bizz Quiz, Fashion Show. The presence of judges from the music, dance, and fashion industries added a professional touch to the cultural events, ensuring that all performances were evaluated with expertise. The involvement of such esteemed judges likely motivated the students and contributed to the overall success and excitement of the event.
The second day's evening program featured a magic show and a musical evening. Students and staff of all the three institutes also added to the entertainment with a Street Play, a Flash mob, staff games in the TEG Campus. The variety of stalls, including those for food, clothes, and education, not only attracted a crowd but also enhanced the lively and festive ambiance of the event.
The crowning moment came during the grand prize distribution ceremony, where Thakur College of Engineering and Technology, Kandivali East, received the prestigious rolling trophy for their exceptional achievements across multiple activities. Looking forward, VISTA continues to serve as a beacon of creativity and collaboration, inspiring future generations of innovators and leaders across disciplines.
Vista 2023

VISTA in its 18th year is TIMSCDR’s biggest platform for the projection of the creative talents of the students, creating a network with other colleges, students, and organizations. The Intercollegiate Festival VISTA – 2023 based on the theme “Techtopia” was organized on 18th April 2023 on the TIMSCDR campus. The festival was inaugurated by Adv Ramaswamy Seshan, Co-Founder Partner of Vankawala & Ramaswamy Law Firm along with Ms Ritu Advani, Founder of Avinya Kendra, Former President of Giants Group of Mumbai ONE, National Secretary for Chamber for Innovators & Entrepreneurs in India.
On 17th April, there was an amazing invite to other college students through Flash Mob by our students on campus.
During this year’s VISTA there was huge participation of students from various colleges. More than 250 students from 20 colleges participated in this Technical Festival in different events. There were altogether 24 Technical, Cultural Events, Sports Events, and Gaming Events. BGMI gaming, Box Cricket, and Flex your Muscle were the crowd pullers whereas, in cultural events like Solo Singing, Dance Performances mesmerized and captivated the audience. Mega-Event which is the prize distribution ceremony was organized in the presence of the Director – Dr. Vinita Gaikwad and the faculty members.
The rolling trophy was awarded to Navinchandra Mehta Institute of Technology and Development, Dadar West because of their maximum participation and winning in different activities.

The annual Technical cum Cultural Festival VISTA 2022 was organized by the institute on 20th April 2022, on the theme “Invincible – Immortality of Technology”.
The event was inaugurated by Dr.Suresh A. Shan, working with Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Limited as Head – Digital Innovation & Future Technology Business Information & Technology Solutions and Dr. Vinita Gaikwad, Director, TIMSCDR
Various technical events such as Web designing, Quiz Competitions, Online games etc, were the highlights of the event. Sports events such as Carrom, Chess, Tug of War etc. had enthusiastic participation from the students.
Along with technical and sports events, a Cultural event was organized. The chief guest and judge for the cultural events was Mr. Bhavin Bhanushali, a known Social Influencer and a Singer.
The various events provided the students with an opportunity to unleash their talent, imagination & innovation along with fostering a spirit of healthy competition by participating with various sets of students in these technical, sports and cultural events.

Online VISTA-2021 was a splendid success with the participation from First and second year for the technical events which includes IT Quiz, Coding , Debugging, Web designing, logo and poster design, Treasure hunt, Tech debet . Participants got an opportunity to display their skills and enthralled the audience. The winners of events awarded with e-certificate.

The Institute organized two-day Intercollegiate Technical cum Cultural Annual Fest VISTA 2020 on 4th and 5th March, 2020 themed on “Dashak – One Decade Down, Forever To Go” truly representing the achievement of last decade . The festival was inaugurated by Mr. Akshay Shah, Founder, CEO, IWeb, Mr. Manish Israni, Executive Vice President & CIO at Yotta, Mr. Bhavesh Adhia, Head – Partner Eco-System (Alliances | Channels | ISV | SaaS) at Yotta , Mr. Siddharth Pandey, Cloud Solution Architect at Alibaba Cloud.

The Institute conducted its 14th Intercollegiate Annual Festival VISTA – 2019 on 5th and 6th March, 2019 themed on “Life in Phone” truly representing a device which has shaped and revolutionized the modern lives.
VISTA was inaugurated in the esteemed presence of Dr.Siddharth SenGupta, Principal Consultant, TCS and Honorary Adjunct Professor IIT Bombay ,the Indian actress and Model Ms. Vedangi Kulkarni along with Ms.Pooja Sinha, alumini of TIMSCDR.
VISTA-19 was a grand success with the huge participation from various college students. More than 400 students from 12 colleges participated in the event for two day for 25 technical and non-technical events which includes indoor events like LAN gaming, PubG, Code Snippets, It’s Quizzy, Debugging, Web designing, Blind coding, Video Mixing and outdoor events like Cricket, Rink Football, Street Play, Fashion show and Dance. Participants got an opportunity to display their skills and enthralled the audience.
The events were judged by the different eminent personalities who are the leaders from their respective fields of play, dance, singing, fashion show etc. like Ms. Roma Arora, Ms. Poonam Chaursiya, Ms. Neha Soni , Ms .Hritu Dudani Smith and Ms. Celina Raj.
The prize distribution ceremony was organized on 6th March,2019 in the presence of Dr. Vinita Gaikwad, Director and the faculty members.The rolling trophy was awarded to Lords College, Malad because of their maximum participation and winning in different activities.

VISTA in its 13th year is TIMSCDR’s the biggest platform for the projection of the creative talents of the students, creating network with other colleges, students and organizations. The two-day Intercollegiate Festival VISTA – 2018 ,based on the theme “Hall of Fame” was organised on 8th-9th March 2018 on the TIMSCDR campus. The festival was inaugurated by the famous Indian actress and Bharatanatyam dancer Ms. Sudha Chandran along with Mr. Rohan Patil, Head ,Vista InfoSec. and Mr. Kaushal Mehta, President, Security Software. The event was promoted by many Bollywood actors and judged by celebrities from various fields.
During this year’s VISTA there was huge participation of students from various colleges. More than 400 students from 20 colleges participated in this two-day festival in different events. There were altogether 30 technical and cultural events .In indoor events LAN gaming, Coding, Debugging, Web designing, Blind coding, Video Mixing were the crowd pullers whereas in outdoor events participants of street play, fashion show and dance mesmerized and captivated the audience for two days. The events were graced by the presence of different eminent personalities who are the leaders from their respective field of play, dance, singing, fashion show etc. like Ms. Roma Arora, Ms. Audrey D’Silva, Mr. Nikhil Mehta, Mr.Sahil Solanki and Mr. Mayuresh Wadkar.
The rolling trophy was awarded to Hiray college, Bandra (E) because of their maximum participation and winning in different activities .
Vista 2017

The festival was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner of Police Mr. Chavan, zone (12) Major events were promoted by Bollywood actors and judged by celebrities from various fields like TV serial actors and reality show performers.
Tech fest VISTA was a grand success with the huge participation from various college students. More than 450 students from 10 colleges participated in the event for two day for elimination and final round. VISTA introduced variety of new events this year which was point of attraction for the participating crowd like neon cricket, Dotta LAN gaming, Camera Car, Remote Car, Laser Showk etc. In outdoor events street play, fashion show and dance were the mesmerizing events for the participants and organizers as well.
The rolling trophy is awarded to Hiray college, Bandra(E) for their maximum participation and winning teams overall.
Vista 2016
With a decade old legacy behind; VISTA 2016 embarked onto its 11th year with great exuberance and vigour. Themed “BACK TO THE 90’s” TIMSCDR made an effort to travel down the memory lane of childhood where Cartoons and Super-heroes were an integral part.
The Annual Technical Festival was organised on 3rd -4th March 2016. It was inaugurated in the esteemed presence of guests Prof. Neelima Naik and Mr. Ajit Joshi who graced the occasion and took a keen interest to see events which were put up. Twelve events, each unique in its own way, were hosted by TIMSCDR and students from around 50 colleges participated. TIMSCDR collaborated with BUILT.IO for their technical (coding-web designing) events.LAN gaming and SPORTS activities were a big hit amongst the participants. Quiz event and Debate too managed to maintain the zeal of VISTA. Enthralling performances put up by the participants kept audience in the auditorium entertained. Students of TIMSCDR too put in their best foot forward and impressed the audience with their singing-dancing skills.
Mega-Event which is the prize distribution ceremony was obligated by I/c Director – Dr. Vinita Gaikwad and the faculty members on 4th March 2016. The Rolling trophy of VISTA 2016 was won by “SPIT COLLEGE”.
In all VISTA 2016 successfully fulfilled all the expectations and reached a smooth end this year. With immense support of teachers and a co-ordinated organising committee that meted out every detail the festival was a grand success.
Vista 2015
TIMSCDR celebrated its 10th annual technical fest VISTA on 9 – 10 February 2015. It was inaugurated by Dr. Prof. H. S. Shankar, IIT Bombay and Mr. Vikrant Pawar, Director Technology, Mobilox. Adhering to the theme of Youth Tech – “Empowering the youth with technology”, VISTA 2K15 provided a perfect platform for students to showcase their technical prowess in a plethora of pure and cross-disciplinary technical events.
VISTA 2K15 threw participants newer and unprecedented challenges, set new standards, leaving the participants awe-struck. This year for the first time VISTA partnered with an NGO “The Candle Project” to provide them with a platform to promote their social cause. The Candle project is a movement to empower children from underprivileged communities through holistic learning and quality education for self-sustainable and independent living. We also partnered with CodeChef, an educational initiative of Directi to host our coding competition.
VISTA 2K15 comprised of 14 technical and non-technical competitions and innovative events such as Treasure Hunt, Kwiznet, Mega Event, Pixta, Bang on Beats, PC Assembling, Webtrix etc. We introduced 3 new events this year – Iggnovation, Face of Vista and Selfiholics.
The prize distribution ceremony was conducted by Dr. Vinita Gaikwad, I/c Director and the faculty members on 10 February 2015. The rolling trophy was won by the students of “MET College”.

The Institute conducted its ninth Intercollegiate Technical Festival VISTA – 2014 on 11th and 12th February, 2014 on the TIMSCDR campus.
Vista 2014 comprised of 15 events and invited about 150 colleges all over Mumbai. Students from different colleges participated in events of different genre like technical events, gaming and cultural events.
The prize distribution ceremony was conducted by Dr. Vinita Gaikwad – I/C Director, and the faculty members on 12th February 2014. The rolling trophy was bagged by the students of “Hiray College”

The Institute conducted its Eighth Intercollegiate Technical Festival VISTA – 2013 on 4th and 5th February 2013 at the TIMSCDR campus. The theme for this year’s tech festival was “Pirates” to spread awareness about IT piracy.
Vista 2013 comprised of 15 events and invited about 100 colleges all over Mumbai. Students from different colleges participated in events of different genre like technical events, gaming and cultural events.
The prize distribution ceremony was graced by Dr. Srikantha Rao – Director, Dr. Vinita Gaikwad – Deputy Director and the faculty members on 5th February 2012. The rolling trophy was bagged by the students of “Hiray College” second time in a row.

The Institute conducted its Seventh Intercollegiate Technical Festival VISTA – 2012 on 9th and 10th February, 2012 on the TIMSCDR campus.
Vista 2012 comprised of 13 events and invited about 120 colleges all over Mumbai. Students from different colleges participated in events of different genre like technical events, gaming and cultural events.
The prize distribution ceremony was conducted by Mr. Srikantha Rao – Director, Ms. Sudeshna Sen, Deputy Director(Academic), and the faculty members on 10th February 2012. The rolling trophy was bagged by the students of “Hiray College”.

The Institute conducted its Sixth Intercollegiate Technical Festival VISTA – 2011 on 2nd, 3rd and 4th March, 2011 on the TIMSCDR campus.
The theme being – Supporting the social cause of “Right to Education.” Ms. Shalini Dutta, a “Teach for India” representative briefed the students on the current state of education system in the country and emphasized the need for greater awareness on the cause during the inaugural ceremony.
Vista 2011 comprised of 13 events and invited about 120 colleges all over Mumbai. Students from different colleges participated in events of different genre like technical events, gaming and cultural events. The events were : Coding & Debugging, Stock Exchange, Video Mixing, Quiz, LAN Gaming, Junkyard Wars, Art Mela, Co-operate 2 Dominate, Movie Spoof, Digital Photography, Workshop, Web Designing and Mega Event.
The prize distribution ceremony was conducted by Mr. Srikantha Rao – Director, Ms. Sudeshna Sen, Deputy Director, and the faculty members on 5th March 2011. The rolling trophy was bagged by the students of “Vivekananda Education Society’s Institute of Technology”.

Institute conducted its Fifth Intercollegiate Technical Festival VISTA – 2010 on 17th and 18th February, 2011 on the TIMSCDR campus.
The festival comprised of 10 Events and Workshops. The events were Code Blitz, Art-Mela,Coding and Debugging, Webnotics,Junkyard wars,Cooperate to Dominate, Vivid, Stock exchange, mega event and Ad Mad.
The prize distribution ceremony was conducted by Ms. Sudeshna Sen and the faculty members on 18th February 2010. The rolling trophy was bagged by MET college.
VISTA – 2009
Institute conducted its Fourth Intercollegiate Technical Festival VISTA – 2009 on 10th and 11th February, 2010 on the TIMSCDR campus. The illumination of the lamp and felicitation of Goddess Saraswati was conducted in the benign presence of our esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Rajeev Bhadhauria, President – HR, Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group
The festival comprised of 9 Events and Workshops. The events were Code Blitz, Art-Attack, Battle of Brains, Inn-o-Vision, Spider Web, Quash The Ad, Blood Bath , Cooperate 2 Dominate and Junk kiJung.
The prize distribution ceremony was conducted by Ms. Sudeshna Sen and the faculty members on 17th February 2009. The rolling trophy was bagged by Hirey College.
