Eligibility Criteria

Admission to First Year of Two-years full time Post Graduate Degree course in Master in Computer Applications (MCA) for the academic year 2023-24

Applications are invited for admission to First Year of Two-years full time Post Graduate Degree course in Master in Computer Applications (MCA) in our Institute. 

 Eligibility Criteria for CAP (Excluding Minority Quota) and CAP (Hindi Linguistic Minority Quota) Candidates:

The candidate should fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

(i) The candidate should be an Indian National.

(ii) The should have Passed B.C.A or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or B.Sc (IT) or B.E. (CSE) or B.Tech (CSE) or B.E. (IT) or B.Tech. (IT) or equivalent Degree and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (at least 45% in case of candidates of Backward Class categories, economically weaker section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State)

Or

(ii) The candidate should have any graduation degree (e.g : B.E. or B.Tech or B.Sc or B.Com or B.A. or B.Voc. etc) preferably with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level(with additional bridge Courses as per the norms of the concerned University) and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (at least 45% in case of candidates of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State);

(iii) Obtained non  zero positive score in MH-MCA- CET-2023.

Note:

1. Eligibility Criteria for admission steps in the entire process of CET, Document Verification at FC, Centralized Admission Process, ARC Verification and Institute reporting etc. for securing admission against the Maharashtra seats, OMS seats and Against Hindi Linguistic Minority.
2. Candidate should be an Indian National & belong to Hindi Linguistic Community (only for Hindi Linguistic Minority candidates).
3. Candidate should have passed the SSC (Std. X), HSC (Std. XII) & Graduation examination from Maharashtra state (only for Hindi Linguistic Minority candidates).
4. The candidate should have a domicile of the State of Maharashtra (only for Hindi Linguistic Minority candidates).

Eligibility Criteria for Institute Level Quota Candidates:

The candidate should fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

(i) The candidate should be an Indian National.

(ii) The should have Passed B.C.A or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or B.Sc (IT) or B.E. (CSE) or B.Tech (CSE) or B.E. (IT) or B.Tech. (IT) or equivalent Degree and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Or

(ii) The candidate should have any graduation degree (e.g : B.E. or B.Tech or B.Sc or B.Com or B.A. or B.Voc. etc) preferably with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level(with additional bridge Courses as per the norms of the concerned University) and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate.

(iii) Obtained non zero positive score in MH-MCA- CET-2023.
