Infrastructure

The institution has an excellent infrastructure and thereby providing an all round development of the students. As part of the infrastructure the institute has 3 laboratories and a Computer Centre, Library, Cafeteria, Hostel.

The relevant and the sophisticated hardware and software in the Laboratories help the students to sharpen their logical and programming skills. The institute is having Microsoft Software campus agreement and the Laboratories comprises of the IBM systems.

Laboratory
The Institute has three state-of-the-art Laboratories. One Laboratory is exclusively used for database programming. It has Oracle 9i installed in the client server environment. It has windows 2000 server installed.

The second Laboratory has 30 nodes connected peer to peer and all are Pentium machines for a batch size of 30. Apart from the printers some of the machines are installed with CD writer.

In the third Laboratory the nodes are connected peer to peer with dual operating system Linux and Windows XP.

Library

Library is continuously updated with latest editions of books, reference books, dictionary, encyclopedia, Journals, educational CDs related to MCA program for students & faculty to enhance their knowledge. It has a Collection of books,journals,CDs.

Apart from this, online journals (e-resources) & CD’s catering to the needs of students in research & project areas.

Library is fully computerized. OPAC facility is available for information retrieval. Library has a separate reading room for students to refer reference books, project reports & for group discussions.  

The Institute has spacious classrooms, which are fully air-conditioned. They possess all necessary teaching aids like LCD, Overhead Projector, Internet Communication and LAN Supported Systems for teaching purposes. Classrooms are well designed so that teaching can take place in peaceful and comfortable conditions.

Computer Center

This Laboratory is used for in-house project development by the students. The computers with Linux and Windows 2000 operating system have Visual Studio, Java, Oracle, .Net technology, Crystal Report, J Builder and Macromedia packages installed. The broadband Internet connectivity of 4 Mbps is provided in this laboratory.
